Respected late shree Brij Mohan Verma started his journey in 1960 when his passion drove him to this particular field, he was young and full of enthusiasm to go after his vision so he started working under jewellery makers and learnt the basics. He realized he was an artist and wanted to earn selling his arts.
Finally after experimenting with many metals he decided to stick with Gilat metal which will act as a substitute to silver made ornaments. The difference was that Gilat metal was way cheaper than sliver and because of the experiments done by him he found out a formula to make them last longer than silver made jewellery.
Patiently doing his work, trying to achieve his vision he reached a stage where silver players of the market started feeling threatened because of his vision and decided to stop him from doing so, their unethical tricks worked and Shree Brij Mohan ji who was a major player of the market of jewelleries found himself in debt and all the creditors asking for their money together, he decided to sell his workshop and pay those creditors and also had to sell all his assets to repay the amount with interest.
But he did not give up and started rebuilding his business from scratch, and no business can be done without funds so he again had to borrow funds from the market and start his jewellery making but he was not ready to take risk this time thats why he decided to go for silver made products and created a brand Brijwasi Silver Ornaments and due to the insufficiency of funds silver was expensive for him to run his business cycle but he kept trying honestly and one day he realized that Brijwasi Silver Ornaments wont be able to function so stopped working with silver but all the debt was getting bigger day by day.
The major problem he was dealing with was his partners cheating him and not completing their work honestly and later when complained about their carelessness they started selling the raw materials and semi finished products without processing them to become a finished good, another problem he faced was that he was an excellent artist, a honest producer of jewelleries, a modest quality inspector but was unable to look after all the departments like sales, accounting and inventory management. He trusted his partners with those departments but all they did was betraying his trust, he always said “Success is a mindset and not every person is privileged to see themselves successful in future”, so he waited for his children to grow up and learn the work of other departments.
Children were in their studying phase and started noticing that their father is behaving a bit different due to stress at his work and his sons started helping him in work and left their studies behind after knowing the amount of debt their father had, so they decided to sacrifice their dreams and visions for their father’s vision to be accomplished.
That was because of their sacrifices that after Shree Brij mohan verma’s eldest son’s wedding things started taking shape.
New business, new brand, new image but in the old market the difference today was that the Gilat metal which he introduced to the whole town is now in trend and most of the jewellers who earlier used to work with expensive metals started opting Gilat metal for their jewellery production, so now for making his place again in the market he and his team needed to work very hard to bring back their image in the market and become the King of Gilat metal jewellery once again.
The journey from 0 to here was not at all easy for them, goals seemed too many to be accomplished but the power of five people together pulled it off step by step.
When they started their journey they never knew one day they’ll be able to pay 10 lacs just for their company’s registration as a pvt ltd company in all over the world. In 2018 they registered their company as private limited company.
